Installing the Adobe Illustrator Extension

Download and install the Extension in Adobe Illustrator

To install first make sure Illustrator is fully closed

Method 1 (Windows only)

Download the installer from here. Double-click the downloaded file and confirm the action, after a few seconds the extension will be installed and a pop-up window will tell you that you can reopen the Adobe Illustrator program.

Method 2 (MAC and Windows)

To install on MAC or method 1 to not work for you on Windows, you can use external software. To install the extension on a local computer you will need the Application Anastasiy's Extension Manager and the file that you can download from the following link: MoonDesk-Illustrator. In case you don't have Anastasiy's Extension Manager installed on your computer, you'll need to download it, then double click on the installer file and follow the steps indicated by it. You can find it here: http://install.anastasiy.com/ To install the extension, you must:

1. Close Adobe Illustrator completely

2. Open the Anastasiy's Extension Manager app

3. Drag the MoonDesk_vXXX.zxp file inside the extension window.

4. The system will ask us for the machine administrator key and will notify us when the installation is complete.

The extension is compatible with the 2018 version of Adobe Illustrator CC onwards

Enable the extension

After you install the extension, you'll need to enable it. For this, select the Window menu within Illustrator, then Extensions, and finally, MoonDesk. Once enabled the extension will be ready to import your files.

New version update

We're updating all the time, so every time a new version comes out, the system will notify you of the availability of it for you to install.

Sometimes Anastasiy's Extension Manager can't install because of blocked files. To solve this problem we must exit Abode Illustrator and remove the following directory and all its contents.

In Windows:

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CC /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC

In Mac:

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC

After removal, the installation process can be repeated
