Import Adobe Illustrator documents into MoonDesk

Importing documents is done exclusively from the Adobe Illustrator Extension.
In MoonDesk you can create a new document and import it or upload existing documents. In both cases in order to upload a document you must have a minimum rating. Classifiers are document-related values, the more classifiers a document has, the easier it is to manage them.
Once the documents are imported into the MoonDesk, they will be available for use and viewing in the web application.

You can create a new document in Adobe Illustrator and then import it into the extension by clicking Import.
Open the file to import in Illustrator
Go to the Import tab
Select the document type and the classifiers with which the document will be identified. At that time, the additional data is linked within the document.
Pressing the Import button will validate a series of rules previously set by the administrator (check rules). In case you find any errors you can modify them on the spot and import them again
The document is added to the platform, in draft state by default
To import several files at the same time we will use the Bulk import tool.
From the extension, go to the Import tab
Select type of document to import and give values to the classifiers (it is not mandatory to assign a value to each classifier, only the values shared by all the documents must be selected, those that are not assigned will have the value blank).
Click on Browse, this allows you to access the files on your computer.
Select the folder of files to import and click Open
Press the Start button, the bulk import will begin. Each file is reviewed according to the rules established in the company, you must accept one by one as it reviews each document
The files are already uploaded to MoonDesk, they are identified with the import number and with the labels: Bulkimport, as well as the names of the location of your files from where they were imported. With these tags, you won't lose any information when you import the files and it will be easier to classify them.
Note: the option to control rules can be deactivated before pressing the Start button.
