Reviewing a Task

You can access a review through the notification, via the email containing the message about the pending task, or directly from the main menu.

Each time you're invited to review documents in MoonDesk, you’ll receive an email with the task’s key details. To start, click the "Go to review" button. This will open the MoonDesk website.

You can also access it via the web app at https://app.moondesk.design. In the top menu, you'll find the Review tab.

On the left side of the screen, you'll see all tasks where you're listed as a reviewer. Each task shows its name, due date, and the number of reviews pending for you.

To the right, you'll see a list of subtasks included in the selected task. Each subtask represents a document and displays:

  • The document name

  • A thumbnail preview

  • Review status

  • The current version

If a subtask is pending your action, you’ll see the label 🕓 Awaiting your review.

To the far right, you’ll find the task description, which may include instructions or relevant information for collaborators.

To begin reviewing a subtask, click "Review now".

Approving or Rejecting a Document

At the top right of the document review screen, you’ll find Approve and Reject buttons.

If the document meets the task's requirements, click Approve. Keep in mind that approval is just one step: all reviewers must submit their feedback, and the task owner gives the final sign-off.

If the document doesn’t meet expectations, use the markup tools and comments to request changes, then click Reject. This will notify the task owner, who will coordinate adjustments once all reviewers have given their input.
