A task is a request to create, modify or review documents that is initiated from the MoonDesk web application. The creation of a task consists of defining a specific job, with specifications on the contents to be used and the assignment of roles in the task.
There are 3 types of task that can be created:
Creation of a document, Modification of a document and Revision of a document. The creation of each one of them consists of a
title and a description of the task
definition of content
assignment of roles for a task: a creator, an owner (in charge of graphic editing in the illustrator document) and a reviewer
To access a task and view it, from the web application go to Tasks from the menu. There you will be able to search, visualize and manage the tasks.
For the search of a task you have a series of filters that facilitate your search.
The filters are:
Name or term
Status of the task
Task number
Dates
By assigned users
It is also possible to customize the search to the user, filtering through My Tasks by hiding tasks where the user is not listed as creator, owner or assigned; Archived Tasks and My Pending Reviews.
Once you have obtained the result of your search, to the right of the list you can edit the task (only if you are the creator, owner or assigned to the task).
In the Moondesk Web Application you can create 3 types of tasks: Creating a document, Modifying a document and Reviewing a document.
In all of them you have to include a title, a description of the task, an owner of the task and assign it to the person in charge of the graphic editions (in illustrator). In the web application, the tasks are created, modified and reviewed from the "Documents" menu. Once created, you can view and edit them from the "Tasks" section.
In the extension, tasks can only be viewed (archived and active tasks), searched by task number, status and roles, documents included in a task can be viewed, edited and a completed task sent for review.
