Image Compare

Image Compare is a tool that allows you to visually compare and detect the differences between two images. You can extend the search with OCR technologies for the recognition of differences in text or in graphic shapes and figures.

This application is ideal to control files that were modified from the original, being able to compare and detect differences, and to gather them in a form to be able to report them in an interactive way.

To begin with, it is essential to have an image type file that is considered the original and a copy of it. These files can be selected in MoonDesk if you have them available in the platform or simply scanned and dragged to Image Compare.

Image Compare has a series of tools to visually compare two images like:

• Zoom

• Rotation

• Overlay view with possibility to visualize differences by means of transparencies or change order of figure layers

• Mosaic view vertical or horizontal

• Text and graphic comparison: this tool activates OCR recognition and graphic difference recognition, which can be displayed and activated or deactivated to perform

The Text & Picture Comparison function enables OCR text recognition and graphic difference recognition.

When activated, a sidebar is displayed that allows text recognition to be activated separately or together, with the possibility of advanced settings such as changing languages and colour marks for differences.

Text differences

They are presented within the drop-down window and can be viewed once you select the Text tab and click on View differences.

There, the differences will be shown discriminated by: Replaced, Added, Removed and Equal, with the possibility to locate it in the images and see "what is the difference". In addition, you have the possibility to activate or deactivate the differences.

Click on Save to save the comparison in the comparison list.

Graphic differences

They are presented within the drop-down window and can be viewed once you select the Graphics tab and click on View differences.

There, the differences will be displayed with the possibility to locate it in the images and see "what is the difference". In addition, you have the possibility to activate or deactivate the differences.

Click on Save to save the comparison in the comparison list.
