Text comparison tool
The Text Comparison Tool in MoonDesk allows for us to analyze the differences between the text content in two documents, highlighting modified, added or deleted words, phrases or blocks. It's ideal for verifying and controlling text in a fast and simple way.
You can access this functionality from:
1- Documents (documents' preview): click on the document to visualize it. Once open, you will see the toolbar in the lower part. Click on the "compare text" button.

2- Reviewing (Visualizer toolbar): when reviewing a task, you can access the comparison tool directly from the review interface.

Interface
The interface is designed to make text content comparison easier. It comprises the following elements:

Use instructions
1- Loading reference document: select the model you wish to compare with. You can upload it from your computer (PDF format only), choose a stored in MoonDesk one, use a previous version, or load the file that the task creator attached as a model.

2- Choosing comparison mode: choose "selection".

3- Manual selection: mark the paragraph to be compared. A pop-up will open displaying the detected differences.

4- Commenting differences: click on the "comments" icon to make some observations. They will appear in the right hand side bar.


5- Marking tools: use the graphical tools in order to highlight visual differences.


6- Approval or rejection: once the differences have been analyzed, you can approve or reject the document accordingly.

7- Saving comparison: our comparisons will be saved, and will be displayed as follows. This way, we will be able to go back to them in any moment if necessary.

Automatic Selection
Use instructions
1- Loading reference document: select the model you wish to compare with. You can upload it from your computer (PDF format only), choose one which is stored in MoonDesk, use a previous version, or load the file that the task's creator has attached as a model.

2- Choosing comparison mode: choose "automatic".

3- Automatic selection: the system detects and highlights all changes in the document automatically.

4- Commenting differences: click on the "comments" icon to make some observations. They will appear in the right hand side bar.

5- Marking tools: use the graphical tools in order to highlight visual differences.


6- Approval or rejection: once the differences have been analyzed, you can approve or reject the document accordingly.

7- Saving comparison: owr comparisons will be saved, and will be displayed as follows. This way, we will be able to go back to them in any moment if necessary.
