Tasks in the plugin

Design request tasks, created from the web app, are solved from the Adobe Illustrator plugin, from the Tasks tab. It comprises mainly the search engine and the list of assigned tasks.

In this section, you can:

  • Search for, filter and visualize tasks.

  • See tasks and documents' details.

  • See, edit and save (send to review) the documents that the task includes.

  • See a task's details, content to be searched and replaced, content to add to a document.

  • See and send messages within a document.

Tasks search engine in the plugin

The tasks search engine includes the following filters, in order to perform a deeper exploration:

  • Tasks filter: you can select between "my tasks", "what's pending" (pertaining to each user), and "all tasks" (all tasks in the whole workspace).

  • Filter tasks by their assigned number.

  • Filter tasks by their status.

  • Filter tasks by their assignee user.

  • Sort by ascending or descending order, by creation date, deadline and modification date.

A. Tasks search.

B. Selected filters tags: here, the selected filters in the search will be visible. You can erase filters by clicking on "Reset filters".

C. Refresh: updates the list for seeing the latest tasks.

D. Task number.

E. Task title: by clicking on it, you can access the Task detail view.

There, you will be able to see the roles within the task, its status, the documents it includes, and you will also be able to check if you have messages (first image).

From the 💬 icon, you will be able to access the chat messages, where reviewers leave comments during the task's reviewing (second image). If the icon's color is blue, this means there are new messages, and it will change to grey when there are no new messages to read.

In both cases, you can access editing the task from the Edit button.

F. Assignees: This icon indicates, with the name and last name initials, who is the user assigned to the task.

G. Deadline: cell in which the deadline is displayed. When the task is past its deadline, it is portrayed in red.

H. Task statuses: cell which indicates the status the task is in. The blue tasks are the ones waiting to be edited by the assignee.

  • Design status: this status indicates that the task is pending design editing.

  • Review status: status that indicates that the document's editing has been done, and is waiting gto be approved by the task's reviewers and owner.

  • Done: status that indicates that the task has been approved by the reviewers, and completed by the task owner.

I. Edit task: the button the first document included in the task. For more information, you can go to Editing.

J. Documents or Subtasks: they're the documents included in the task which, upon accessing the design or review request, match the task's status. These fcan have the following statuses, depending on the status the tasks are in:

K. Add document: you can add documents to the task by clicking on .

L. Document number.

M. Subtask status.

N. Messages: the messages left in a task's review will be able to be seen here. When this changes color, it means that there are unread messages.
