Creating an account and signing up

In order to start using MoonDesk, the first thing you have to do is create an account. You can either do it from the web app, as well as from the Adobe Illustrator plugin.

Creating an account from the web application

User registration

  1. Access app.moondesk.design, and click on Don't have an account yet? Sign up.

  2. Fill in the form with your e-mail, and click on Create account.

  3. You will receive a registration e-mail, asking for your account confirmation. Click on Confirm account. A form will pop up for you to complete your profile.

  4. Complete your profile, filling in name, last name and username (the one which will be displayed in your workspace) fields, and create your password (for safety reasons, we recommend for you to use a password at least 8 characters long, containing at least one uppercase and one lowercase character, and one number). Then, click on Access MoonDesk.

  5. Create your workspace. The workspace is the place where your documents and tasks will be grouped up. Give your workspace a name, and select the type of company (according to what kind of company you choose, there will be some documents available as examples in order to make your experience in MoonDesk easier). Next, click on Create workspace.

  6. You are registered, and your workspace has been created.

User registration with a Microsoft account

If you have a Windows account, you can use it to access MoonDesk.

  1. Access app.moondesk.design, and click on Don't have an account yet? Sign up.

  2. In the Create account form, you have the possibility of signing in with a Microsoft account

  1. You will go to register user through Microsoft, sign in with your username and password, and lastly, authorize MoonDesk to sign in with your credentials.

  2. Complete your profile, filling in name, last name and username (the one which will be displayed in your workspace) fields. Then, click on Access MoonDesk.

  3. Create your workspace. The workspace is the place where your documents and tasks will be grouped up. Give your workspace a name, and select the type of company (according to what kind of company you choose, there will be some documents available as examples in order to make your experience in MoonDesk easier). Next, click on Create workspace.

  4. You are registered, and your workspace has been created.

Creating an account from the Adobe Illustrator plugin

User registration

  1. Open the plugin menu:

  • Click on the Menu button in the upper right corner of the Adobe Illustrator plugin window.

  1. Create account:

  • Click on Create account.

  • Fill in the form with your information and click on Sign up.

  • Once the information has been filled in, and the form has been sent, you will receive an e-mail in order to confirm your address.

  1. Confirm e-mail address:

  • Access the link we have sent you via e-mail, and create your password.

  1. Click on Save. Done! You will have a workspace available under your name with some uploaded documents in order for you to be able to learn how to use the platform more easily.

For safety reasons, we recommend for you to set a password at least 8 characters long, using at least one uppercase, one lowercase letter, and one number.

User registration through the plugin with a Microsoft account

If you have a Windows account, you can use it to access MoonDesk.

Accessing the system

Once created your account, you will be able to access MoonDesk:

  1. Opening MoonDesk:

  • Access the web app or open the Adobe Illustrator plugin.

  1. Sign in:

  • Click on the Login button.

  • Input your username and password details.

  • Click on Sign in in order to access your account.
