Tasks in the web app
A task is a design or document review request that must be completed in a determined period of time.
Tasks in MoonDesk are design or document review requests that must completed within a determined period of time. The tasks screen provides a clear and organized interface in order to manage these activities. Here's a breakdown of its components and functionalities:
Tasks Screen
1- Access to the Tasks screen:
Accessible from the web app's main menu.

2- Screen components:

Search bar and filters: these enable searching and filtering tasks according to different criteria.
Number: value assigned for the identification of a task that's defined according to its creation order.
Task name: name assigned to the task upon its creation.
Projects: you can group tasks under one same project. By clicking on its tag, you are able to change projects, or create a new one.
Documents: column that shows how many documents a task has. By clicking on the number, the documents detail and status within the task will drop down.
Users: allows to see people assigned to the different task's roles.
Status / Time elapsed:
In design status: the task is in the process of being edited.
In review status: status in which the design task has been carried out and is awaiting to be approved by the reviewers.
Done: status in which the review task has been approved by the reviewers and completed by the task owner.
Deadline: it's the limit date defined for the completion of a task. The date will automatically change to color red when the assigned day is equal or after the deadline.
Comments: icon that indicates that a task has messages.
More Options: menu that groups the functionalities that can be done to a task.

Sort by: functionality that allows for the tasks in the listing to be sorted by creation date, deadline and modification date.

Creation of a new task
Access the tasks screen from the main menu, and select "New task" in the upper right corner.

Initial status: defines if the task is in design or review process.
Basic details: task name, detail and deadline.
Assignation of roles: creator, owner, assignee (graphic editor) and task reviewer.
Details: briefly explains the task to be performed. This content won't be checked automatically.
Documents: section for adding the documents to the task. They can be of the following kinds:
Documents to be reviewed/modified.
Reference documents.
Sorting (creation of a new document): The document sorting will determine which control rules have to be applied.
Control:
Rules: rules are applied according to the sorting values defined in "Sorting (creation of a new document)". If no rule is applied to the selected document, nothing will be displayed in this field.
Contents: defines the text or image contents that must be included and checked in the design.
Nutritional chart: select a chart model, and finally load the data from an Excel file. The software will load the data automatically.
Search and replace: input the text to be searched, and text for it to be replaced for, in order for MoonDesk to modify them automatically.

Tasks creation provides a clear space for defining details and requisites of each activity to be performed.
