Installing the Adobe Illustrator plugin

System requirements

In order to install and use MoonDesk's Adobe Illustrator plugin, you will need:

• An internet connection in order to download the plugin and save documents in MoonDesk

• Administrator access / installing permits in order to install it in the computer

• Adobe Creative Cloud license (only for installation option 1)

• Adobe Illustrator CC 2023 (or a later version)

• Disk space (only for storing Illustrator files in temporary folders, allowing for their faster access)

An internet connection of at least 10 MB is recommended (suggested speed for files at least 20 MB in size). Consider a broader bandwidth if you're working with bigger size files.

Installation options

If you have and Adobe Creative Cloud account, you can install the plugin following the steps in Option 1. Else, please follow steps in Option 2.

MoonDesk's plugin is compatible with Adobe Illustrator CC 2023 or later versions, though we always recommend for the latest version to be used.
